Après la dernière mise à jour? Ubuntu 18.10 a atteint l'EOL le 18 juillet 2019 ( frigo.ubuntu.com/2019/07/19/… ) et est donc hors sujet ici, sauf si votre question est spécifique au passage à une version prise en charge d'Ubuntu. Votre pâte fait cependant référence à bionique? ou 18.04 (18.10 est cosmique) donc quelque chose ne va pas, mais 18.10 est hors sujet ici maintenant en raison de la fin de vie.

@guiverc Je rencontre le même problème avec Ubuntu 18.04 qui est LTS, donc ce problème ne semble pas être exclusif à ubuntu 18.10. Cependant, la solution de contournement temporaire décrite dans la réponse d'Aaron a résolu le problème.

Oui, la dernière mise à niveau d'apt a téléchargé de la merde libidin qui a détruit mon démarrage. Merci pour la question et les réponses.

Selon le bug du Launchpad 1843507 , le commentaire # 4 a fonctionné pour moi, au moins temporairement.

$ wget http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/main/libi/libidn2/libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb
$ sudo apt-mark hold libidn2-0

Mise à jour: D'après le rapport de bogue, cela semble n'affecter que ceux qui utilisent PHP à partir de launchpad.net/~ondrej

Mise à jour: Ondřej a déjà publié une mise à jour pour sa version PHP. Vous pouvez rétrograder libidn2-0 pour qu'apt fonctionne à nouveau:

$ wget http://mirrors.kernel.org/ubuntu/pool/main/libi/libidn2/libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i libidn2-0_2.0.4-1.1build2_amd64.deb

Ensuite:

$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt upgrade

Et vous devriez être prêt à partir.

Je l'ai fait et j'ai startxtravaillé une fois. Ensuite, après le redémarrage, je ne parviens pas à accéder au terminal. Sic. Il est temps de dire à nouveau bonjour à Windows. De tels échecs sont inacceptables.

J'ai fait ça et maintenant ça semble fonctionner, mais je n'ai pas besoin de redémarrer le serveur? D'après ce que je comprends est temporaire, si je redémarre, le gestionnaire de réseau ne démarre pas et je reste complètement exclu de mon serveur, pouvez-vous confirmer? Alors, que dois-je faire maintenant? Dois-je mettre à jour dans les prochains jours ou non? Comment vais-je comprendre une fois le problème résolu et pourrai-je mettre à jour et redémarrer le serveur?

@gronostaj Et Windows ne tombe jamais en panne? Les temps d'arrêt sont vraiment inévitables. Au moins avec Linux, vous pouvez désactiver les mises à jour si la stabilité est prioritaire.

Téléchargez ce paquet libidn2-0_2.0.5-1_amd64.deb depuis le référentiel Debian sur la machine, puis exécutez-le pour l'installer à la place du paquet Ubuntu défectueux.sudo dpkg -i /path/to/.deb

Quiconque trouve des problèmes sur Ubuntu 18.04 doit installer ce paquet. Cela marche.

J'ai rencontré le même problème sur ma machine. J'ai pu me connecter à Internet via un câble Ethernet et dérouler le package mentionné par @Mason Pawsey dans leur réponse.

Je ne savais pas comment faire cela, j'ai donc trouvé de l'aide dans ce post de @ chili555 .

J'ai pu rétrograder le package et démarrer comme d'habitude. Cependant, il y avait toujours une entrée dans mon /etc/network/interfacesfichier pour eth0, et cela m'empêcherait de me connecter via wifi. Je suis donc allé dans le dossier et commenté tout sous auto eth0( au cas où j'en aurais besoin plus tard ).

Après avoir supprimé l'entrée et redémarré mon ordinateur, tout allait bien.

J'espère que cela aidera quiconque viendra sur cette page à l'avenir.
