J'ai donc jeté un coup d'œil à d'autres articles sur le crash de claviers dans Ubuntu 16.04, mais ils ne semblent pas avoir le même problème que moi.
Ubuntu 15.10 et 16.04 continuent à geler de façon aléatoire
Ma situation est intéressante car le clavier, et seul le clavier se bloque. La souris peut toujours déplacer le curseur, et le clic gauche / clic droit continue d’effectuer les opérations attendues. L'avantage supplémentaire est que lorsque cela se produit, je dois forcer le redémarrage. Le redémarrage normal s'interrompt indéfiniment, m'obligeant à maintenir le bouton d'alimentation enfoncé.
Mon système est un Lenovo Ideapad avec un processeur Quad-Core i7, une carte graphique dédiée Nvidia, une mémoire RAM de 12 Go, un SSD M2 et un SSD Sata.

Mettre à jour le BIOS Lenovo sous Windows
Heureusement, Windows est toujours installé sur le deuxième SSD (
/dev/sdb
), vous pouvez donc toujours appliquer les mises à jour du BIOS sur votre ordinateur portable. De nombreux utilisateurs ont signalé le gel du clavier causé par un bogue du BIOS. La solution ne peut être appliquée que via Windows et il apparaît qu'il n'y a pas de mise à jour du BIOS Linux pour ce bogue.Mettre à jour Intel Microcode pour Linux
Obtenir le dernier microcode Intel sous Ubuntu / Linux est une bonne idée lorsque vous rencontrez des problèmes:
Dans les paramètres du logiciel Ubuntu, cochez la case Intel Microcode pour activer la prise en charge lors de votre prochain démarrage.
Revenez à l'ancien noyau ou obtenez le dernier noyau 4.14.xx
De nombreux utilisateurs d'Ubuntu ont signalé des problèmes avec les correctifs de Meltdown qui ont été diffusés au début de 2018, forçant les utilisateurs du noyau 4.10.0-42 à utiliser le noyau 4.13.0-26 à l'avance.
