La génération de documents Sphinx sur read-the-docs échoue avec l'erreur suivante (journal complet ci-dessous):
ImportError: cannot import name 'PackageFinder' from 'pip._internal.index' (/home/docs/checkouts/readthedocs.org/user_builds/cascade-python/envs/latest/lib/python3.7/site-packages/pip/_internal/index/__init__.py)Ai-je fait quelque chose de mal ou est-ce un bug dans read-the-docs?
Une version locale de documents Sphinx fonctionne correctement.

Le problème et le correctif sont décrits dans le numéro de lecture des documents # 6554 ( https://github.com/readthedocs/readthedocs.org/issues/6554 ):
Actuellement, toutes les versions échouent car la mise à niveau automatique (depuis # 4823) vers pip 20.0 était boguée (voir pypa / pip # 7620). Il y a maintenant une version 20.0.1 qui semble avoir résolu le problème pour d'autres ... mais comment puis-je forcer mes readthedocs à également passer à la version .1?
Le correctif consiste à effacer l'environnement de génération comme suit (cela provient de https://docs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/guides/wipe-environment.html ):
Ce correctif a fonctionné pour moi (mais à partir du 26 janvier 2020, vous devez effacer l'environnement pour chaque build - voir le commentaire de Grimmy ci-dessous).
